The Basic Principes of Computer


A Computer is a device used for processing data. It performs the following three operations in sequence:

INPUT:

Input is any data or instructions you enter into a computer . A computer hardware that allows you to enter data or instructions into the computer is called device. It serves as a communication channel between the user and the computer. The most commonly used input devices are keyboard and mouse.

 

 
 
PROCESS:

Process refers to the steps that convert data into information. Central Processing Unit (CPU), also known as the processor, performs and manages overall computing operations.


OUTPUT:

Output is the result given by a computer after processing data. A computer hardware that presents a meaningful result to the user is called output device. The most commonly used output devices are monitor and printer.
